State Factory ran a three month trial with three client websites adding numerous links to Linkedin, new Facebook pages and Twitter.

Although some of the links where recognised by Google the ROI was poor. The time and effort spend on these pages, articles, new webpages was such that from a link building point of view it was an expensive experiment that did not yield the results that current beliefs in social book marking lead website owners to believe.

In terms of traffic links (ie non SEO links for SERPs improvement) there was some update but conversion rates where extremely poor.

State Factory have withdrawn this type of link building from our service offering.
